The new release of GenusProject is available for download.
New features include:
- ODISS – Open Digital Signage System (see http://genusproject.org/odiss for more)
- Project Management – GANTT charts, costing, tasks etc
- TransChat – a real time translation chat engine. You chat in English and someone in the channel sees your messages in French for example.
- Integrated WIKI – use the help button on each screen for more help. Some help pages still in progress.
- More – more in the coming release. Stay tuned!
There are a few outstanding items we still need to address:
- The size of the download is rather huge. We have some cleanup to do.
- The login screen includes environment settings that are not configurable at present
- Default data for workspaces is not provided in this release
